Japanese Sweet Potato Hash

By admin on July 5, 2016

This hash has a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. We know it’s not your ordinary hash but there are times your throw things together and they just work. Here’s one of them.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Japanese sweet potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp hadaya spice blend – asado
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or oil of choice
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme

Directions

  1. Dice the Japanese sweet potatoes and place them in a large mixing bowl
  2. Combine all ingredients until all the potatoes are evenly coated
  3. In a medium sautee pan add about a table spoon of oil to coat and place the potatoes stirring occasionally. Cook until golden brown about 20 minutes
